Activity: For this activity we used clay to make Christmas ornaments. First, we drew our own design on a piece of paper. Next, we rolled out our ball of clay and traced the paper on top of it. Then, we kept our left over clay to put add ons on top. After this, we put our drawings on top of the clay and traced our design in the clay. Lastly, when the drawing and tracing and adding we all done we painted our ornaments.
Extension Activity: I would have the students make their own coasters with whatever design they want. This will allow me to get to know my students better and it would be a personal gift.
