Vincent Van Gogh

Activity: We first started this project off by have a dark piece of constructing paper as our background and gluing tissue paper on it by using gel medium. Then we created a pattern by using swirls with crayons or oil pastels just like Vincent VanGogh used on his artwork. Lastly, we cut out our own landscape that we made and glued it to the bottom of the artwork.

Extension Activity: You could use this in science when teaching the different biomes. Each biome is different, so they will have their own colors. For example, in the aquatic biome you would use mainly cool colors because of the water. The students will then create their own landscape that relates to that specific biome and that they think they will see in that biome as well.
